Circumcision

Today, as I was eating apple cinnamon oatmeal on my porch, two women told me excitedly, while dancing, something I didn't understand. Mapula translated:

"They said you must go to initiation."
"Initiation?"
"Yes, you know how the boys go to the mountains and are initiated and circumsized. They say you must go to the girl initiation and get circumsized."
"Girls do that here!"
"Some, but I don't like it."

I turned to the women, and slightly shocked, told them:

"Aowa kudu kudu." (very gramatically incorrect but it means roughly: very very no. I think they got the point)
